Brad, a native of Lincoln County, is the eldest son of the late Charles and Lee Gallant. He graduated from Central High School in 1968 and later earned degrees from Martin Methodist College and John A. Gupton College in Nashville. Brad has held various leadership roles, including president of the Fayetteville Kiwanis Club, Exalted Ruler of the Fayetteville Elks Lodge #1792, Master of Andrew Jackson Masonic Lodge #68, Shriner, and member of the Board of Directors for the Tennessee Funeral Directors Association. He is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in Tennessee and Alabama, as well as a licensed life insurance and burial insurance agent. Additionally, Brad is a National Funeral Directors Association Certified Preplanning Consultant and a member of the National Funeral Directors Association and the Tennessee Funeral Directors Association.  

 

 He is the proud father of three daughters: Brooke, Bethany, and Blair, and the grandfather of six grandchildren: Hutton, Lincoln, Leo, Baines, Olivia, and Sloane. Brad resides in Fayetteville.

Brooke, a native of Lincoln County, is the eldest daughter of Brad Gallant and Brenda Clifton Gallant, and the granddaughter of the late Charles and Lee Gallant. She graduated from Hazel Green High School and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from Auburn University. After working for eight years as a graphic and publications designer, she joined the staff in 2010. Brooke also graduated from John A. Gupton College in Nashville and is a licensed funeral director and notary public. She is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association and the Tennessee Funeral Directors Association.  

 

She is an active member of the Fayetteville Kiwanis Club.  Brooke is married to John Fanning, and they have one daughter, Sloane. They reside in Elora.

Michael, originally from Louisville, Kentucky, graduated from Moore County High School in 1994. He relocated to Fayetteville and began working at Gallant Funeral Home. In 2000, Michael earned a degree in Funeral Service Education from Jefferson State Community College. He later obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Athens State University in 2010. Michael is also a licensed life insurance and burial insurance agent and is a Certified Crematory Operator. Michael is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association and the Tennessee Funeral Directors Association.  He is married to Kara Lyn Johnson, and they have three children: Riley, Caroline, and Luke. Michael is an active member of West End Baptist Church, where he serves as a deacon and worship leader. He and his family reside in Fayetteville.

Karen Cantrell Stephens Funeral Assistant | Receptionist

Karen, a native of Madison County, Alabama, worked as a hair stylist for eleven years before transitioning to the Madison County School System, where she served as a school secretary from 1994 until her retirement in 2011. She enjoys interacting with people and supporting families during their times of need. Karen is married to Randy Stephens, and they have one son, Jonathan. The family is active in Park City Baptist Church and resides in Hazel Green.

Joe Gifford Funeral Assistant

Joe, a native of Lincoln County, Tennessee, retired as a maintenance supervisor for the Madison County School System before joining our staff in 2007. In his current role, he oversees property and grounds maintenance, taking great pride in the care and appearance of the funeral home, cemetery, and equipment. Joe was married to the late Brenda Arnold and has one granddaughter and four great-grandchildren. He attends Park City Baptist Church and resides in Flintville.

Justin Moorehead Licensed Funeral Director

Justin, a native of Flintville, Tennessee, graduated from Lincoln County High School in 2006. He is actively involved in Kelly’s Creek Baptist Church, serving as a deacon and Sunday school teacher. Justin has also contributed to his community as a volunteer first responder and firefighter with the Blanche Fire and Rescue. After working at Crawford Supply for ten years, Justin now focuses on his community and church roles. Justin is a graduate of John A. Gupton College in Nashville and a member of the Tennessee Funeral Directors Association.  He is married to Jenny McAlister, and together they have three children: Daylen, Jamie, and Wiley. The family lives in Taft.

John, a native of Lincoln County, graduated from Lincoln County High School in 1990. He earned his undergraduate degree from Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tennessee, and later completed his doctorate at Tennessee State University. Additionally, he graduated from John A. Gupton College in Nashville and is a licensed funeral director and pre-need sales agent. He is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association and the Tennessee Funeral Directors Association.  

 

An active member of the Fayetteville Kiwanis Club, John joined the funeral home staff as a full-time employee in August 2025. Prior to this role, he served as Assistant Director of Schools for Lincoln County. His previous positions include principal of South Lincoln School, principal of Hazel Green High School, assistant principal of Meridianville Middle School, and teacher at Lincoln County High School. He is married to Brooke Gallant and is the proud father of their daughter, Sloane.

John Curtis Licensed Funeral Director

John, a native of Lincoln County, honorably served in the United States Air Force and Reserves. He became a licensed insurance agent in the early 1960's and a licensed funeral director in 1979. He has worked in the funeral industry for many years and now works part-time as a funeral director and insurance agent. John is married to Sandra, and they have one daughter, a son-in-law, two grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. They attend the Cumberland Presbyterian Church and reside in Fayetteville.

Carly Searcy Apprentice Funeral Director & Embalmber

Carly, a native of Moore County, is the daughter of Corey and Lori Searcy and the granddaughter of Mitch and Linda Gass, as well as Doyle Searcy and the late Anita Searcy. She is a graduate of Tullahoma High School and is presently enrolled at John A. Gupton College in Nashville, where she is pursuing a professional career as a licensed funeral director and embalmer. She currently resides in Lynchburg.

Sherrie Noles Maddox Funeral Assistant

Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Sherrie has called Fayetteville home since she was 11 years old. She graduated from Lincoln County High School in 1980 and later became a certified Registered Dental Assistant through the Tennessee Vocational Center. Sherrie dedicated 27 years to her career as a dental assistant, beginning with Dr. Richard Turpen until his passing. She then worked with Dr. Alan Drewry for 21 years until his retirement, followed by a period with Dr. Matt Thurman until her own retirement.  Sherrie is a past member of the Rotary Club and active in the community.  She now enjoys working as a funeral assistant and part-time caregiver. She loves being around people and helping others. Sherrie is married to Bob Maddox and resides in the Mimosa Community.

Bill Reavis Funeral Assistant

Bill, a native of Lincoln County, Tennessee, graduated from Flintville High School and attended J.F. Drake State College in Huntsville, Alabama. He has been dedicated to the public safety profession since 1980, retiring from the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department in 2020 with 40 years in law enforcement. Bill currently serves as a Judicial Commissioner for the 17th Judicial District in Moore County.  He is also a board member for Lincoln County Crime Stoppers.  Bill is married to Donna Weir, and together they have two daughters and five grandchildren. They are active members of Shelbyville First Baptist Church and make their home in Lynchburg.

Lindsay, a native of Lincoln County, is a 2006 graduate of Lincoln County High School. She is currently pursuing a degree in Funeral Science, preparing for licensure as a funeral director and embalmer. Lindsay is married to Travis Hicks, and together they have four children. They make their home in Fayetteville.
