Obituary for Dorothy L. Harrison

Dorothy L. Harrison, age 97, of Fayetteville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at Covenant Manor. She was born in Lincoln County, TN on November 5, 1922 to the late Jack D. & Pearl Moyers Key. She worked as a seamstress for Blue Ridge Shirt Plant for 23 years and she also operated Wyatt Service Station for 21 years. She enjoyed doing puzzle books.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Wyatt Harrison in 1999; sisters: Velma Parker, Elsie Smith and Marie Moyers; and brothers: Buford Key and Brady Key.

Mrs. Harrison is survived by her sister-in-law: Ruth Key of Fayetteville, TN; eleven nieces, two nephews; and her special caregiver niece: Gail Welch of Petersburg, TN.

Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, December 27, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in Rose Hill Cemetery with her nephew Danny Hanson officiating. Burial will immediately follow. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home.
