Mr. Fred L. Cole
March 28, 1936 - February 1, 2008
Funeral services for Mr. Fred L. Cole, age 71, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Friday, February 1, 2008 at the Lincoln Medical Center, will be conducted Sunday, February 3, 2008 at 12:30 p.m. in the chapel of Gallant Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Old Orchard Cemetery. Mr. Cole was a native of Lincoln Co., TN, son of the late Carl & Exie Gowan Cole. He was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include cousins: Christine Sullivan, Maxine Thornton, Joyce Buntley, Billy Joe Gowan, Gloria Hall, Shirley Smith, Devonna Holder, Billy Joe Williamson all of Fayetteville, TN, Sara Payne of Chattanooga, TN, Judith Hasty of Shelbyville, TN. Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 12:00 noon until 12:30 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Mr. Keith Buchanan

Funeral services for William Keith Buchanan, age 29, of Fayetteville, TN; who passed away Sunday, February 03, 2008 in the Lincoln Medical Center will be conducted on Friday, February 08, 2008 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Cemetery. Mr. Buchanan was a native of Lincoln Co; he was the son of William David Buchanan & Connie B. Hicks Buchanan. He was a Truck Driver for the City of Fayetteville. He loved working on old cars and being with friends. He was of the Jehovah Witness faith. In addition to his parents he is survived his wife: Jana Buchanan of Fayetteville, TN; 1 daughter: Kiana Buchanan of Fayetteville, TN; 2 sons: William Keith Buchanan, Jr., David A’Monte Buchanan both of Fayetteville, TN; a sister: Angelee Hill of Fayetteville, TN; 2 brothers: Ricky Howard of Murfreesboro, TN, & Rodney Howard of Fayetteville, TN; Paternal Grandparents: Alvin & Fannie Buchanan of Fayetteville, TN; & Maternal Grandparents: John & Ozetter Hicks of Fayetteville, several uncles & aunts; several nieces & nephews. Following the service the family will have a meal at the Gleghorn Building in Fayetteville; if you would like to bring a covered dish it would be appreciated. Visitation with the family will be Friday, February 08, 2008 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Mrs. Patricia G. Hughes
July 31, 1945 - February 16, 2008
Funeral services for Mrs. Patricia Hughes, age 62, of Kelso, TN, who passed away Saturday, February 16, 2008 at the Lincoln Medical Center, will be conducted Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Bates officiating. Burial will follow in Taylor Cemetery. Mrs. Hughes was a native of Arab, AL, daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson James & Elsie Hawkins James. She was an insurance agent for Womack & Holland Insurance, a member of the Hazel Green 1st Baptist Church and a member of the Tennessee Miniature Horse Volunteers. Along with her parents, Mrs. Hughes was preceded in death by 1 brother: Jimmy James. Survivors include her husband: Dwain Hughes of Kelso, TN; 1 daughter: Jennifer Hughes Pigg & husband: Mike of Fayetteville, TN; 1 son: Jeff Hughes & wife: Tammy of Fayetteville, TN; 3 grandchildren: Kara Hughes, Paige Pigg, Kelsey Hughes; 1 sister: Sandra Queen & husband: Tom of Guntersville, AL; and 1 brother: Bill James & wife: Regenia of Altoona, AL. Visitation with the family will be Monday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Mrs. Beth Carter Winford
September 15, 1934 - February 21, 2008
It is with regret that we announce the death of Mrs. Beth Carter Winford, age 73, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Thursday, February 21, 2008 in the Huntsville Hospital. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, February 24, 2008 from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home. Burial will follow at a later time in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Winford was a native of Lincoln Co., TN, daughter of the late Hamilton & Irene Carter, a supervisor for Teledyne and she was of the Church of Christ faith. Along with her parents, Mrs. Winford was preceded in death by her husband: Jerry Winford; 1 son: Jerry Wayne Winford; 1 daughter: Donna Atkins. Survivors include 1 son: Mike Winford of Fayetteville, TN; 1 granddaughter: Brandy Harrison of Toney, AL; 1 sister: Jean Stuhlburg of Connecticut; 1 brother: Bobby Carter of Fayetteville, TN and 2 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Martha Frances Stevens
September 02, 1924 - February 22, 2008
Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Frances Stevens, age 83, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Friday, February 22, 2008 in the Lincoln Care Center, will be conducted Monday, February 25, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Diana Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Sunday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home. Mrs. Stevens was a native of Petersburg, TN, daughter of the late James W. & Mattie Pack Williams, she worked for Petersburg Manufacturing Company, was a member of the Liberty Church of Christ. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands: Charles Edward Brown and William Everett Stevens and 1 son: William R. Brown. Survivors include 2 daughters: Julene Sullenger of Fayetteville, TN, Shirley Allen of Shelbyville, TN; 5 grandchildren: Gloria Armstrong, Billy Brown, Cindy Allen, John Allen, Angie Brown and 3 great grandchildren.

Virgil T. Edwards
October 21, 1938 - February 27, 2008
Graveside funeral services for Mr. Virgil Thomas Edwards, age 69, of Kelso, TN will be conducted on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at 2 p.m. in the Britton Cemetery in Madison County, AL with Bro. Winfred Stayton officiating with burial to follow. Mr. Edwards was a native of Lincoln County, TN; he was the son of the late Richard Clark & Cora Virginia Britton Edwards. He was retired Boiler Operator from Amana Corp. A veteran of the U.S. Navy. His main hobby was fishing. He is survived by his sister: Mary Belle Bryant of Kelso, TN; 2 brothers: Willie Edwards of Illinois & Gordon Edwards of Indiana; several nieces & nephews; & several great-nieces & great-nephews.
