Mrs. Mamie Lou Pogue
November 6, 1919 - September 1, 2007
Funeral services for Mrs. Mamie Lou Pogue, age 87, of Elora, TN, who passed away Saturday, September 1, 2007 at the Southern TN Medical Center, will be conducted Monday, September 3, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Bro. William Cantrell & Theo Moon officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Pogue was a native of Madison Co., AL, daughter of the late Marvin & Margie Medley Hodge, a housewife and a member of the Riverton Free Holiness Church. she was a lunch room worker at New Market School, a cook at Humphrey's Restaurant in Huntsville and a cook at the New Market Restaurant. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 children: Margie Hill, Patricia Ann Pogue and John William Pogue. Survivors include her husband: James Pogue of Elora, TN; 4 daughters: Joyce Boles of Elora, TN, Mary Pendergraft of New Market, AL, Linda Moon of Elora, TN, Barbara Teeler of Flintville, TN; 5 sons: Floyd Pogue, Ronnie Pogue both of Elora, TN, James Pogue, Jr. of Hazel Green, AL, Charles Pogue of Big Cove, AL, Earl Pogue of Hazel Green, AL; 1 sister: Ann Moritz of Denver, CO; 19 Grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Yvonne Cagle, age 46, of Toney, AL, who passed away Saturday, September 1, 2007 at her residence, will be conducted Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Stateline Friendship Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Rusty Lincoln officiating. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery. Mrs. Cagle was a native of Calhoun, GA, daughter of Wayne Broyles and Peggy McAbee. Survivors include her husband: David Cagle of Toney, AL; 2 daughters: Thumbalena Ann Williams and Michelle Williams both of Meridianville, AL; father: Wayne Broyles of Calhoun, GA; mother: Peggy McAbee of Hazel Green, AL; 3 sisters: Brenda Broyles of Tallulah, LA, Patricia Lynn Broyles of Flint, MI, Medina Kay Hutton of Hazel Green, AL; 1 brother: Stephen Dewayne Broyles of Calhoun, GA and 4 grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Stateline Freewill Baptist Church.

Funeral services for Mr. Wayne Priest, age 66, of Kelso, TN, who passed away Sunday, September 2, 2007 at the Huntsville Hospital, will be conducted Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Memorial Gardens. Mr. Priest was a native of Paint Rock, AL, son of the late Luther D. & Jewel Lean Campbell Priest, and was retired from the upholstery business. Survivors include his wife: Joan Priest of Kelso, TN; daughter: Cathy & Royce Rollins; son: Doug Priest all of Kelso, TN; grandson: Christopher Priest of Fayetteville, TN; step-mother: Nancy Priest; half-sister: Sheryl Prater both of McMinnville, TN and a host of other family and friends. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lou Emmy Gautney, age 90, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at the Lincoln Skill Care Center, will be conducted Saturday, September 15, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Gautney was a native of Lincoln Co., TN, daughter of the late Luther & Rose Emmy Towry Bates. She was a seamstress for Jonathan Logan and a member of the Fayetteville Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Survivors include 2 daughters: Glendell & Benny Baucom of Santa Fe, TX, Elizabeth & Donald Fanning of Tullahoma, TN; 2 sisters: Ora Hickson of Fayetteville, TN, Lydia Thrasher of May, TX;1 half-brother: Luther Ellis Bates of Fayetteville, TN; 1 step-sister: Juanita Ortner of Tullahoma, TN; 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mr. James C. Brown, age 67, of Mulberry, TN, who passed away Saturday, September 15, 2007 at the Harton Regional Medical Center in Tullahoma, TN, will be conducted Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Forrest Bryan officiating. Burial will follow in Mulberry Cemetery. Mr. Brown was a native of Fayetteville, TN, son of the late Clifford Vanburen & Flossie Owen Brown. He was an Army veteran and a member of the Church of Christ. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 step-children: Kenneth Hall & Robbie Owens. Survivors include his special friend and companion: Virginia Hopcroft of Mulberry, TN; 1 sister: Annie B. Mullins of Seattle, WA; 2 brothers: Frankie D. Brown & Billy Joe Brown both of Franklin Co., TN; 1 step-daughter: Peggy Atchley of the Skinem Community; step-grandchildren: Christopher Atchley, Janice Lynn Bingler, Tiffany Louise Owens, Billy Wayne Owens and several step-great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Aubrey Edwards, age 77, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Saturday, September 15, 2007 at his residence, will be conducted Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Gay officiating. Burial will follow in the Moore Cemetery. Mr. Edwards was a native of Madison Co, AL; he was the son of the late Richard C. & Cora Virginia Britton Edwards. He was retired from Amana Refrigeration, a member of the Maranatha Baptist Church, a avid fisherman, & was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife: Nell Edwards of Fayetteville, TN; 2 daughters: Lisa Lowry & husband: Patrick, & Audrea Edwards both of Fayetteville, TN; 1 sister: Mary Belle Bryant of Kelso, TN; 3 brothers: Willie Edwards of Illinois, Gordon Edwards of Indiana, & Virgil Edwards of Kelso, TN. Mrs. Nellie Phillips

It is with regret that we announce the death of Mrs. Nellie Phillips, age
92, of Kelso, TN, who passed away Friday, September 21, 2007 at the Bailey
Manor-Fayetteville. Mrs. Phillips was a native of Glastonbury, Connecticut,
daughter of the late Joseph & Sophie
Condell Garay. She was a member of the Catholic faith. Survivors include her
daughter: Susanne Scanlon of Kelso, TN; 2 grandchildren: Lisa Pipkin of Chelsea,
AL, David Scalise of Gilbert, AZ; 1 great grandchild: Autumn Pipkin; 1 sister:
Dorothy Garay of Fishkill, NY and 1 brother: John Garay of Glastonbury,
Connecticut. Funeral services and burial will be conducted in Glastonbury,
Connecticut. Gallant Funeral Home is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
Mr. Craig Wallace
June 13, 1937 - September 22, 2007
It is with regret that we announce the death of Mr. Craig Wallace, age 70,
of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Saturday, September 22, 2007 at the
Huntsville Hospital. Mr. Wallace was a native of Dallas, TX, son of the late
Clinton & Billie Barrier Wallace, and a journeyman union pressman for a
newspaper printing facility. He is survived by his wife: Apirat Wallace of
Fayetteville, TN and 1
son: Vincent Wallace of Phoenix, AZ. There are no services plannedat this time.

Funeral services for Mr. William R. Chapman, age 82, of Fayetteville, TN, who
passed away Sunday, September 23, 2007 at
the Lincoln Skill Care Center, will be conducted Thursday, September 27, 2007 at
11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Bro. Van Johnson
officiating. Burial will follow in Wright Cemetery. Mr. Chapman was a
native of Lincoln Co., TN, son of the late Charles Hale & Mary Markham Chapman.
He was an Army veteran, a member of the Baptist faith and worked with fencing.
Survivors include 1 daughter: Lydia Chapman of Florida; 3 sons: Lawny Chapman,
Tony Chapman, Ted Chapman all of California; 2 sisters: Hilda Chapman Holland of
Florida, Inez C. Swinford of Huntsville, AL; 1 brother: Forrest Chapman of
Fayetteville, TN and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation
with the family will be Wednesday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant
Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lucille Alice "Lou" Potter

Funeral services for Mrs. Lucille Alice " Lou " Potter, age 63, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Sunday, September 23, 2007 at the Lincoln Medical Center, will be conducted Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Gay officiating. Burial will follow in Prosperity Cemetery. Mrs. Potter was a native of N. Adams, Massachusetts. She was disabled and attended the Prospect Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband: William Potter. Visitation with the family will be Monday evening September 24, 2007 from 5 until 7 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in Stewart Cemetery beside her late husband: Jim Ventress. Mrs. Ventress was a native of Lincoln County, TN; the daughter of the late Bobbie Dwyer & Mary Broadrick Poole, a graduate of Blanche High School, graduate of Andrew Jackson Business University in Nashville, TN, a member of Liberty Church of Christ, Retired Credit Manager after 48 years with Sterchi's & Heilig-Meyers Furniture. She is survived by a daughter: Dana Luttrell & husband: Melvin of Decherd, TN; 1 granddaughter: Andrea George & husband: Darion of Flintville, TN; 1 grandson: James Luttrell of Winchester, TN; 1 great-grandchild: Austin George; 4 sisters: Ruth Edmunds, Mary Beaty & husband: Daley, Linda Kay Barnes & husband: Chuck all of Goodlettsville, TN, Faye Pirtle & husband: Bill of Gallatin, TN; 3 brothers: Oscar Poole & wife: Christine of Taft, TN, John Poole & wife: Laura of Columbia, TN, & Joe Poole & Glenda of LaVergne, TN; several nieces & nephews. the VA Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN, will be conducted Thursday, September 27,

Home with Rev. Milton Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview
Memorial Gardens. Mr. Morton was a native of Fayetteville, TN, son of the
late Ross & Lela Warren Morton, a contractor, a member of the Northside Church
of Christ and a Normandy Beach survivor in WWII. Along with his parents, Mr.
Morton was preceded in death by 1 daughter: Martha Wiser. Survivors include 2
daughters: Rebecca Steelman of Fayetteville, TN, Sarah Ogle of Elora, TN; 1son:
Henry B. Morton, Jr. of Murfreesboro, TN; 11 grandchildren,16 great
grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will

Bolch, age 76, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at the St. Thomas Hospital, in Nashville, TN, will be conducted Friday, September 28, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Buddy Alverson officiating. Burial will follow in Wright Cemetery. Mr. Bolch was a native of Tampa, FL, a salesman, an Army & Air Force veteran and a member of the Methodist faith. Along with his parents, Mr. Bolch was preceded in death by his wives: Donna Bolch in 1980, Sadie Bolch in 2006 and 1 son: Michael Bolch in 1998. Survivors include 1 daughter: Suzanne Simmons of Brandon, FL; 3 sons: Randy Bolch of Tuscaloosa, AL, Scott Bolch of Utica, KY, Matt Bolch of Atlanta, GA; 1 step-daughter: Debbie Devereaux of Lewisburg, TN; 3 step-sons: Mark Jett of Hazel Green, AL, Ray Bunn, Steve Bunn both of Fayetteville, TN; 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Keith Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at the Elora Cemetery. She was a native of Jackson County, AL; the daughter of the late James & Hannah Henshaw Fowler. She was a housewife & a member of the Donaldson Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband: George Hurley Fanning; & 2 grandchildren: Deborah Jones & David Matthews. Mrs. Fanning is survived by 2 daughters: Nell Willison of Harvey, Illinois, & Frances Matthews of Lake Placid, Florida; 10 grandchildren & 21 great-grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening October 02, 2007 from 5p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home; Mrs. Fanning will also lie in state at the church 1 hour prior to the service.
