Mr. Byron G. Pendergrass
Funeral services for Mr. Byron G. Pendergrass, age 47, of Shelbyville, TN, who passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2006 in the Vanderbilt Medical Center, will be conducted Saturday, March 4, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Elder Ron Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Flintville Cemetery. Mr. Pendergrass was a native of Lauderdale Co., TN, son of Thelma Lynn Faulkner Pendergrass of Shelbyville, TN and the late J.H. Pendergrass, a truck driver, a veteran of the National Guard and a member of the Emmanuel Church of Christ Pentecostal. Along with his father, Mr. Pendergrass was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Abigail Faith Morrison. Along with his mother, he is survived by his close companion: Sandy Sons of Shelbyville, TN; daughter: Angelin Suzutte Pendergrass Morrison of Adairville, KY; son: Richard Pierson Pendergrass of Adairville, KY; grandchildren: Nathan Cody & Austin Blake Pendergrass, Shelby Lynn & Jayden Layne Morrison; sister: Rhonda Lynn Pendergrass Brannon of Shelbyville, TN. Visitation with the family will be Friday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.
Mr. James Clark Lawson
Funeral services for Mr. James Clark Lawson, age 64, of Culeoka, TN, who passed away Friday, March 3, 2006 in Maury Regional Hospital, will be conducted Monday, March 6, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Dave Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Mr. Lawson was a native of Giles Co., TN, son of the late Joe Carmen Lawson and the late Josephine Scott. Survivors include his sisters: Janice Moore of Columbia, TN, Faye Dugger of Fayetteville, TN; brother: Jimmy 'Jim' Lawson of Arlington, VA. Visitation with the family will be Monday from noon until 2 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.
Mr. Jeffrey Lee Finn
Funeral Services for Mr. Jeffrey Lee Finn, age 45, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Sunday, March 5, 2006 at his residence, will be conducted Tuesday, March 7, 2006 graveside in Lincoln Cemetery with Dr. Calvin Todd officiating and Gallant Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Finn was a native of Lincoln Co., TN, son of Katie Finn of Fayetteville, TN and the late Charles Lee Finn. He was a heavy equipment operator. Along with his father, Mr. Finn is preceded in death by his grandparents: E.Z. & Lillie Jacobs Mooneyham & Robert Finn. Along with his mother, survivors include his sister: Brenda Brannon of Huntsville, AL; brother: Michael Kirby of Shelbyville, TN; grandmother: Lucille Finn of Fayetteville, TN; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
Mr. Bobby Ray Baugh
Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Ray Baugh, age 38, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Monday, March 6, 2006 in Huntsville Hospital, will be conducted Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home. Mr. Baugh was a native of Ft. Campbell, KY, and a waiter. Survivors include his father: Clyde & Mary Farmer Baugh of Fayetteville, TN; mother: Peggy 'Pam' Laymon of Scottsboro, AL; sisters: Pamela Nicole & Bryan Meenen of Hazel Green, AL, Rachelle Miller of Fayetteville, TN; nieces: Macy Elizabeth Miller, Sydney Lynne Meenen; nephew: C.J. Mrs. Short was a native of Marshall Co, TN, daughter of the late Charles Albert & May Wakefield Norwood, an inspector for Cumberland Manufacturing and a member of the Medium Methodist Church. Survivors include 1 daughter: Martha Adams of Petersburg, TN; 1 son: Ted & Becky Norwood of Fayetteville, TN; 5 grandchildren: Lisa Nichols, Tracy Deweese, Mia Jo Bradford, Troy Adams & Terry Rogers; 12 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Tommie Muriel Cashion, age 89, of Petersburg, TN, who passed away Monday, March 6, 2006 in the Marshall Medical Center, will be conducted Saturday, March 11, 2006 at 2:00 pm in the Petersburg Church of Christ with Bro. Don Hudson officiating and Gallant Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Cashion was a native of Lincoln Co., TN, daughter of the late William Thomas Welch and the late Ida Mai Welch, a seamstress and a member of the Petersburg Church of Christ. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law: Randy & Von Cashion of Lewisburg, TN; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Mrs. George was a native of Lincoln Co., TN, daughter of the late George & Rilda Neal Simmons, a housewife and a member of the Burns Pentecostal Church. Along with her parents, Mrs. George was preceded in death by her husband: F.A. George and 2 sons: F.A. George, Jr. & Jerry Wayne George. Survivors include 1 daughter: Juanita Johnson of Dickson, TN; 2 sisters: Virginia Campbell of Nashville, TN, Mattie Nall of Kingston Springs, TN; 1 brother: George E. Funeral services for Ms. Vera Oneida Jones, age 77, of Nashville, TN, who passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at the Baptist Hospital, will be conducted Saturday, March 18, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. graveside in Blanche Cemetery with Scott Woodard officiating and Gallant Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Ms. Jones was a native of Jefferson Co., AL, a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her mother: Bertha Jones-Jones, father: Henry Clayton Jones & sister: Eloise Jones Slattery. Survivors include her brother: Jack R. Ferguson of Ashville, NC; special cousins: Bobby Ferguson and wife, Maple, Bill Ferguson and wife, Jean all of Fayetteville, TN and a host of other relatives. Mr. Land was a native of Lincoln Co., son of the late Roy Junior & Lucy Viona Daily Land, a truck driver and a member of the Caldwell Chapel Church of God. Along with his parents, Mr. Land was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren: Dustin Barnes & Jerried Land. Mrs. Smith was a native of Lincoln Co., TN, daughter of the late John & Melissa Smith Askins, a housewife and a member of the Missionary Baptist Church. Tony Billions officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Mr. Goosby was a native of Fayetteville, TN, son of the late Jack & Martha Mae Cannon Goosby. He retired from the maintenance department at Amana, was an Army veteran and a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church and he enjoyed fishing. Funeral services for Mr. Franklin 'Peanut' Wilbanks, age 67, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Friday, March 31, 2006 at the Lincoln Medical Center, will be conducted Monday, April 3, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. graveside in Rose Hill Cemetery with Don Gatlin officiating and Gallant Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Wilbanks was a native of Madison Co., AL, son of the late John Henry & Lily Kirkland Wilbanks, a heavy equipment operator and a member of the Baptist Church. Along with his parents, Mr. Wilbanks was preceded in death by 1 sister: Virginia Jones. Survivors include 2 daughters: Debbie & Mark Pennington, Lisa & Adam Johnson; 2 sons: Randy & Rhonda Wilbanks, David & Wanda Wilbanks; 5 grandchildren: Wesley & Zachary Wilbanks, Ashley Norris, Christopher & Christian Wilbanks; 1 great grandchild: Trey Haas; 1 sister: Bobbie & Dan Metcalfe and loving friend: Jimmie Wilbanks.
