Ms. Bonnie Jean Thomason

               Funeral services for Ms. Bonnie Jean Thomason, age 34, of Unionville, TN, who passed away Sunday, May 1, 2005 at Bedford County Medical Center, will be conducted Thursday, May 5, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Dr. Joel Carwile officiating. Burial will follow in Unity Cemetery. Ms. Thomason was a native of Lincoln County, TN, daughter of the late Ruby Griffin & Jimmie Allen Thomason, who survives. Along with her father, she is survived by her daughter:  Victoria Smith of Fayetteville, TN; sisters:  Wanda Deason of Unionville, TN, Kim Patterson of Hazel Green, AL; brothers:  Ricky Brooks of Fayetteville, TN, Jerome Brooks of Flat Creek, TN; nieces:  Jessica Brooks of Unionville, TN, Stephanie Brooks, Melissa Brooks both of Fayetteville, TN; nephews:  Aaron Brooks of Fayetteville, TN, Ryan Brooks, Dylan Brooks both of Flat Creek, TN, Anthony Brooks of Murfreesboro, TN, Adam Brooks of Flat Creek, TN, Nathan Patterson of Hazel Green, AL; great niece & nephew:  Gabriaella & Tristen Reeves. Visitation with the family will be held Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

 

 

Mr. Smith 'Junior' Harbin

               Funeral services for Mr. Smith 'Junior' Harbin, age 77, of Flintville, TN, who passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at his residence, will be conducted Thursday, May 5, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Wade Towry officiating. Burial will follow in Flintville Cemetery. Mr. Harbin was a native of Madison County, AL, son of the late Alec Harbin & the late Pearl Hambrick Harbin, an assembly line repairman for Amana and a member of the Stewarts Chapel Baptist Church. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by wife:  Josephine Stewart Harbin, son:  Roger Harbin & grandson:  Jackie Harbin. Survivors include his daughters:  Joyce & Ray Norman, Judy Bain; sons:  Jeff & Teena Harbin, Billy & Sharon Harbin; grandchildren:  Katie & Jennifer Bain, Coty, Brandi & NIkki Harbin, Sherry, Jason & Jimmy Harbin; step-grandchildren:  Ashley, Matt & John Wayne Whaley, Daryl Hicklen & Jeff Winsett; Brother:  W.D. Harbin. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

 

 

Mr. Delbert McGee

               Funeral services for Mr. Delbert McGee, age 87, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Saturday, May 21, 2005 in Lincoln Medical Center, will be conducted Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at 4:30 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Jack Jean and Tom Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Mr. McGee was a native of Lincoln County, TN, son of the late Joe Graham McGee and the late Sally Bell Steelman McGee, a farmer and a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife:  Florence McGee; daughter:  Wanda Faye & Rodger Jones; sons:  Joe Wayne & Suzanne McGee, Richard & Jean McGee all of Fayetteville, TN, Michael & Debra McGee of Cincinnati, OH; sisters:  Florence Preston of Lynchburg, TN, Lucille McBee of Shelbyville, TN, Mary Ann Chapman of Fayetteville, TN; 2 favorite friends:  Samson & Bandit; 7 grandchildren:  Ricky McGee, Keith McGee, Gina McGee Vaughn, Elizabeth Jones Parker, Karen McGee Myers, Brent McGee, Christopher McGee and 8 great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be Monday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

 

 

Mrs. Helen Jackson

               Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Jackson, age 82, of Hazel Green, AL, who passed away Monday, May 23, 2005 at her residence, will be conducted Wednesday, May 25, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Marable officiating. Burial will follow in Kirkland Cemetery. Mrs. Jackson was a native of Madison County, AL, daughter of the late John Henry 'Dink' Finley & the late Mary Louise Kull Finley. She was a housewife and a member of the Stateline Friendship Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband:  Bill Jackson of Hazel Green, AL; daughter:  Joyce A. Harris of Columbia, TN; sons:  Charlie Hopkins of Keavy, KY, Terry Hopkins of Hazel Green, AL; 1 brother:  Harold Finley of Toney, AL; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be held Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home. 

 

 

Mr. Bill Farmer

               Funeral services for Mr. Bill Farmer, age 69, of Huntsville, AL, who passed away Friday, May 27, 2005 in Crestwood Medical Center, will be conducted Sunday, May 29, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Phil Carlisle officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Mr. Farmer was a native of Elora, TN, son of the late Melton William Farmer & the late Mary Etta Kilpatrick Farmer. He was an electrical engineer for the U.S. Army Missile Command, a member of the Baptist Church, and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Along with his parents, Mr. Farmer was preceded in death by his sister:  Sue Farmer on April 17, 2005. Survivors include his wife:  Judy Smith Farmer of Huntsville, AL; son:  Steve & Kris Sumners of Murfreesboro, TN; sister:  Dorothy Farmer Vanatta of Estill Springs, TN; brothers:  Wade & Joyce Farmer, Ray & Carolyn Farmer, Tommy & Linda Farmer all of Huntland, TN, Dean & Susan Farmer of Alpharetta, FL; 3 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be Saturday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.
