Mrs. Wilma L. Gardner

               Funeral services for Mrs. Wilma L. Gardner, age 81, of Limestone Rd., Elora, TN, who passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at her residence, were conducted Thursday, March 3, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Bro. Malcolm Gardner and Bro. Roy T. Moore officiating. Burial followed in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Gardner was a native of Lincoln County, TN, daughter of the late Milton Walter Morgan & the late Connie Bell Hall Morgan, a housewife, a member of the Apostolic Light House of Jesus, enjoyed embroidering and the thrill of helping others. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 daughter:  Martha Lentz; 2 brothers:  Lewis Morgan & Hugh Morgan. Survivors include 1 daughter:  Imogene & Vernon Stone of Elora, TN; 2 sons:  Benny & Barbara Gardner of Chicago Heights, IL, Terry & Lorree Gardner of Fayetteville, TN; 1 brother:  Buford & Charlotte Morgan of Petersburg, TN; 21 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Visitation with the family was held Wednesday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

 

 

Mr. Bobby Joe Warren

               Memorial services for Mr. Bobby Joe Warren, age 45,of Duck Branch Rd., Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Thursday, March 3, 2005 at his residence, were conducted Saturday, March 5, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Richard Waggonner officiating. Mr. Warren was a native of Lincoln County, TN, son of Annie Sue Warren of Fayetteville, TN and the late James Adrain Warren, and self employed as a back hoe operator. Along with his mother, Mr. Warren is survived by 1 son:  James Lewis Warren of Shelbyville, TN; 2 brothers:  Melvin Warren, & David Warren both of Fayetteville, TN; 4 sisters:  Betty Sanders of Birmingham, AL, Margaret Eslick, Sharon Osgood both of Fayetteville, TN & Kathy Mangrum of Shelbyville, TN.

 

 

Mrs. Virgel L. Roland

               Funeral services for Mrs. Virgel L. Roland, age 74, of N. Fork Rd., Manchester, TN, who passed away Sunday, March 6, 2005 in Manchester Medical Center, were conducted Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Earl Cairns and Rev. Mike Towry officiating. Burial followed in Stateline Cemetery. Mrs. Roland was a native of Lincoln County, TN, daughter of the late George Mathis & the late Eula Mae Mills Mathis, a homemaker and a member of the Boynton Valley Baptist Church. Survivors include 1 daughter & son-in-law:  Mary R. & Ronnie Watts of Manchester, TN; 3 grandchildren:  Jamie Roland, Rachel Watts, & Sabrina Watts all of Manchester, TN and several nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family was held Monday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

 

 

Mrs. Jean Brannon Roney

               Funeral services for Mrs. Jean Brannon Roney, age 60, of Glasgow, KY, who passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2005 in T.J. Samson Community Hospital, were conducted Saturday, March 12, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Dwight Smith officiating. Burial followed in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Roney was a native of Madison County, AL, daughter of the late James Lee Brannon & the late Mary Maude Barnett Brannon, a dietary technician, a member of the Baptist Church and she enjoyed cooking and singing. Survivors include 2 daughters:  Crissy Cook of Glasgow, KY, Tammy Robinson of Ashville, NC; 1 son:  Chad Roney of Perry, FL; 2 grandchildren:  Nathen Garrett, Meagan Cook; 2 step-grandchildren:  Kasey Cook, Hayli Cook; 4 sisters:  Faye Hollis, Velma Smith both of Fayetteville, TN, Marie Norris of Etowah, NC & Eunice Norris of Hendersonville, NC and several nieces & nephews. Visitation with the family will be Friday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

 

 

Mrs. Donna Lynn Adkins

               Funeral services for Mrs. Donna Lynn Adkins, age 52, of Meridianville, AL, who passed away Thursday, March 17, 2005 at her residence, were conducted Saturday, March 19, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Donald Ramey officiating. Mrs. Adkins was a native of Lincoln County, TN, daughter of the late Jerry Wayne Winford & Beth Carter Winford, who surviveds, and she was in management for Goodyear/Dunlop. Survivors include 1 daughter:  Brandy Gray Harrison & her husband:  Trevor of Huntsville, AL; husband:  Jackie Tiller of Meridianville, AL; mother:  Beth Winford of Fayetteville, TN; brother:  Mike Winford of Fayetteville, TN; 1 step-son:  David Tiller of Huntsville, AL; 1 step-granddaughter:  Alice Tiller. Visitation with the family was held Saturday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

 

 

Mr. Leonard Childress

               Funeral services for Mr. Leonard Childress, age 83, of Patrick Road, Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Sunday, March 20, 2005 in Crestwood Medical Center, were conducted Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Ennis Hyman officiating. Burial followed in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Mr. Childress was a native of Lincoln County, TN, son of the late Wesley Childress and the late Biddie Putman Childress, a farmer and a member of the Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 57 years:  Lorene Childress; 1 sister:  Elizabeth Barnes; 1 brother:  Jimmy Childress all of Fayetteville, TN and several nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family was held Tuesday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

 

 

Mr. Mike Kolle

               Funeral services for Mr. Mike Kolle, age 47, of Graham Road, Taft, TN, who passed away Sunday, March 20, 2005 in Huntsville Hospital, were conducted Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Rusty Lincoln and Bro. Bobby Powell officiating. Burial followed in Blanche Cemetery. Mr. Kolle was a native of Louisville, KY, son of Alvie Kolle & Jeanette Johns Kolle, who survive. He was a supervisor for Huntsville American Cabinets, a member of the Cash Point Baptist Church, loved to shoot skeet, was a bird hunter and a Tennessee football enthusiast. Along with his parents, Mr. Kolle is survived by his wife:  Judy Kolle; 1 son:  Brandon Kolle all of Taft, TN and special friends Dave & Jeri Pape of Huntsville, AL. Visitation with the family was held Tuesday evening from 6 until 9 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

 

 

Mrs. Evia Lee Mills

               Funeral services for Mrs. Evia Lee Mills, age 80, of Church St., Petersburg, TN, who passed away Monday, March 21, 2005 in Lincoln Medical Center, were conducted Thursday, March 24, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Pete Crim officiating. Burial followed in Old Orchard Cemetery. Mrs. Mills was a native of Portland, TN, daughter of the late Joshua Woodard & the late Amanda Dickens Woodard. She worked on the assembly line for Genesco, and was a member of the Baptist Church. She resided in Gallatin until the age of 14 and then moved to Lincoln County. She operated a restaurant in the Fairview Community and she was a very giving and caring person. Mrs. Mills was preceded in death by her husband:  Ray 'Goober' Mills & 2 daughters:  Carol Bartlett & Kim Barnes. Survivors include 5 grandchildren:  Lanny Miles of Petersburg, TN, Robin Miles, Laura Longoria, Michelle Miles & Charles Miles all of Corpus Cristi, TX; 6 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family was held Wednesday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

 

 

Mrs. Frances B. Wood

               Funeral services for Mrs. Frances B. Wood, age 73, of Ardmore, AL, who passed away Friday, March 25, 2005 in Huntsville Hospital, were conducted Monday, March 28, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Rusty Lincoln and Rev. Marshall Norman officiating. Burial followed in New Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Wood was a native of Lincoln County, TN, daughter of the late Andy Brown & the late Lida Snow Brown, a housewife and a member of the Stateline Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include 2 sons:  Dennis Ray Patterson of Fayetteville, TN, Bobby Joe Patterson of Ardmore, TN; 4 daughters:  Becky Morris of Ardmore, TN, Betty Jean Graves of Huntsville, AL, Rita Haney, Brenda Hamm both of Athens, AL; 1 brother:  A.C. Brown of Athens, AL; 3 sisters:  Louise Stewart of Cash Point, TN, Alma Jaco of Fayetteville, TN, Janie Patterson of the Coldwater Community; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Visitation with the family was held Sunday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.
