Mrs. Nancy Pamplin

               Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Pamplin, age 47, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Wednesday, August 3, 3005 in Lincoln Skill Care, will be conducted Friday, August 5, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Bro. Harold Boggs & Bro. Ricky Crabtree officiating. Burial will follow in New Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Pamplin was a native of Lincoln County, daughter of the late Bennie Richardson Crabtree, Sr. & the late Annie Belle Carter Crabtree, a machine operator for Del-Met and a member of the Taft Full Gospel Church. Along with her parents, Mrs. Pamplin was preceded in death by 1 daughter:  Elizabeth Diane Pamplin. Survivors include 2 sons:  James Brian Pamplin & Timothy Dwayne Pamplin both of Fayetteville, TN; 2 sisters:  Becky Hames & Judy Holt both of Flintville, TN; 2 brothers:  Bennie R. Crabtree, Jr. of Columbia, TN & Ricky Crabtree of Shelbyville, TN; special friend:  Robert 'Peter Rabbit' Harwell & 3 grandchildren.  Visitation with the family will be Thursday evening from 6 until 9 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

 

 

Mrs. Peggy Hooper

               Funeral services for Mrs. Peggy Hooper, age 66, of New Market, AL, who passed away Thursday, August 4, 2005 in Cogburn Health Rehab, will be conducted Sunday, August 7, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Eads officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery. Mrs. Hooper was a native of Madison County, AL, daughter of the late Richard & Mary Jane Cobb Schrimsher, owner of a ceramics shop and a member of the Hazel Green First Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband:  Garnet Dwight Hooper of New Market, AL; 4 daughters:  Mary Thorpe of Sophia, NC, Bonnie Newsom of Hazel Green, AL, Tasia Hooper of Delavan, WI, Alesia Wallin of Rising Fawn, GA; 1 son:  Shelby McElyea of New Market, AL; 2 sisters:  Betty Ostrander of Denton, NC, Shirley Mae Kassebaum of Sophia, NC; 3 brothers:  Bobby Schrimsher of Taft, TN, Mike Schrimsher of Sophia, NC, Jerry Lee Schrimsher of Huntsville, AL; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be Saturday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

 

 

Miss Elizabeth Morrison

               Funeral services for Miss Elizabeth Morrison, age 89, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2005 in Lincoln Medical Center, will be conducted Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Pigg Cemetery. Miss Morrison was a native of Lincoln County, TN, daughter of the late Claiborne Pigg Morrison & the late Bertha Casteel Morrison, a seamstress for Serbin Fashions and a member of the Liberty Church of Christ. Along with her parents, Miss Morrison was preceded in death by 2 brothers:  Joe Loyd Morrison & Espy Morrison & 1 sister:  Lois Morrison. Survivors include 1 sister:  Virginia Storey of Fayetteville, & 1 brother:  Claiborne Pigg Morrison, Jr. of Fayetteville, TN; 3 nephews & 1 niece. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

 

 

Mrs. Margaret Smith Turner

               Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Smith Turner, age 86, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Saturday, August 13, 2005 in Huntsville Hospital, will be conducted Tuesday, August 16, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Turner was a native of Lincoln County, TN, daughter of the late William A. Smith & the late Anna Mae Barnes Smith, a seamstress for Serbin for over 30 years, a graduate of Boonshill High School, and a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband:  Alfred Turner of Fayetteville, TN; daughter:  Patsy T. & Terry Campbell of Arkansas; 2 grandchildren:  Eric Christopher Campbell & Angela Beth Campbell & 1 sister:  Doris Stewman of Lynchburg, TN. Visitation with the family will be Monday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

 

 

Mrs. Annie Taylor

               Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Taylor, age 67, of Round Lake Beach, IL, who passed away Saturday, August 27, 2005 in Condell Medical Center, Libertyville, IL, will be conducted Saturday, September 3, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Taylor was a native of Princeton, AL in Jackson County, daughter of the late Ernest Sanders and the late Lizzie Banks Sanders, and a housewife. Along with her parents, Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband:  Bobby Taylor on April 25, 2005. Survivors include 4 daughters:  Brenda C. Briggs of Peoria, IL, Bobbie A. Lamb, Deborah J. Munoz both of Round Lake Beach, IL, Rebecca E. Budz of Palatine, IL; 2 sons:  Charles Ray Taylor of Gurnee, IL, Ricky L. Taylor of Round Lake Beach, IL; 2 sisters:  Estell Magot of Alabama, Sue Taylor of Lynchburg, TN; 2 brothers:  Claude Sanders & Orville Sanders both of Fayetteville, TN; 22 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be Friday evening from 4 until 9 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

 

 

Mrs. Joyce Layman

               Funeral services for Mrs. Joyce Layman, age 80, of Elora, TN, who passed away Monday, August 29, 2005 in Huntsville Hospital, will be conducted Thursday, September 1, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in Elora Cemetery. Mrs. Layman was daughter of the late Sim L. Caldwell & the late Iva Garner Caldwell,  a homemaker and a member of the Elora Baptist Church. Along with her parents, Mrs. Layman was preceded in death by her husband:  Ralph Layman; 1 son:  Gerald Layman; 1 grandson:  Tim Layman & 1 brother:  Sim L. Caldwell. Survivors inlcude 1 daughter:  Dianne Boldin of Harvest, AL; 1 son:  Kenneth Layman of Elora, TN; 2 sisters:  Maureen Milner of Boaz, AL, Marie Hughes of Tucson, AZ; 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.
