Mr. Clayton Norman
Funeral services for Mr. Clayton Norman, age 78, of Kelso, TN, who passed away Thursday, April 7, 2005 at the Lincoln Medical Center, will be conducted Saturday, April 9, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Kirk Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Kelso Cemetery. Mr. Norman was a native of Lincoln County, son of the late Adie Lawrence & the late Laura Mae Simmons Norman, a post master for Kelso Post Office, he spoiled all children who entered the post office, enjoyed raising cattle and farming, loved his collie dog and was a former all-state basketball player for Central High School and starred at MTSU, and was a member of the Kelso Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his wife: Bernice Norman; 2 daughters: Diane Brown & Beverly Kent all of Kelso, TN; Diemer C. Norman, Jr. of Flintville, TN; 1 brother: Lawrence Norman of Springfield, TN; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be Friday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.
Mr. Bobby Taylor
Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Taylor, age 67, of Round Lake, IL, who passed away Monday, April 25, 2005, will be conducted Saturday, April 30, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. Mr. Taylor was a native of Lincoln County, TN, son of the late B. Mat Taylor & the late Mattie Mearse Taylor, a machine operator for Stewart & Warren Auto Parts. Survivors include his wife: Annie Christine Sanders Taylor of Round Lake, IL; 4 daughters: Brenda C. Briggs, Bobbie A. Lamb, Deborah J. Munoz all of Round Lake Beach, IL, Rebecca E. Budz of Palatine, IL; 2 sons: Charles Ray Taylor of Gurnee, IL, Ricky L. Taylor of Round Lake Beach, IL; 5 sisters: Janie Meeks, Robbie Bartlett both of Fayetteville, TN, Sue Smith of Flintville, TN, Hannerlee Farris of Tennessee, Mildred Bunn of Shelbyville, TN; 1 brother: James Taylor of Flintville, TN; 22 grandchildren & 29 great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be Friday evening from 4 until 9 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.
Mr. Charlie Davis
Funeral services for Mr. Charlie Davis, age 86, of Lincoln Rd., Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2005 in Huntsville Hospital, will be conducted Saturday, April 30, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Bro. Wildon Neeley & Bro. Ennis Hyman officiating. Burial will follow in Rowland Hills Cemetery. Mr. Davis was a native of Lincoln County, TN, son of the late John Thomas Davis & the late Katie Copeland Jacobs Davis, a farmer and a member of the Harmony Hill Church of God. Along with his parents, Mr. Davis was preceded in death by 1 grandchild: Danny Thomas Davis & 1 great grandchild: Chandra Davis. Survivors include his wife: Allie Davis of Fayetteville, TN; 1 daughter: Brenda & Joe Jackson of Hixson, TN; 1 son: Tommy & Alice Davis of Fayetteville, TN; 5 grandchildren & 13 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.
