Mrs. Frances A. Gertrude Quick

               Funeral services for Mrs. Frances A. Gertrude Quick, age 75, of Old Huntsville Rd., Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2004 in Lincoln Medical Center, were held Saturday, February 7, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gallant Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Bill Stamps and Rev. Milton Martin officiating. Burial followed in Stateline Cemetery. Mrs. Quick was a native of Lincoln County, TN, daughter of the late Dolphus Franklin Cothren and the late Viola Bunn Cothren, a housewife and a member of the Christian Fellowship Church. She was preceded in death by her husband:  Ernest 'Buck' Quick in 1991, 1 sister:  Dolly Heard & 1 brother:  Virgil Cothren. Survivors include 3 sons:  Bobby & Janie Quick of Manchester, TN, Charles & Pam Quick of Knoxville, TN, Terry & Liane Quick of Flintville, TN; 7 grandchildren:  Monica Paceley, Donald Quick, Jamey Quick, Wesley Quick, Bret Quick, Savannah Quick, Chad Quick and 7 great grandchildren. Visitation was held Friday evening from 5 until 9 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

 

Mrs. Mildred Hall

               Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Hall, age 77, of Mountain Rd., Elora, TN, who passed away Sunday, February 8, 2004 in Lincoln Medical Center, were held Wednesday, February 11, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Hammons officiating. Burial followed in Elora Cemetery. Mrs. Hall was a native of Lincoln County, TN, daughter of the late Grant Dalton Davis and the late Dora Alice Kennedy Davis, a homemaker and a member of the Oakley Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband:  Richard B. Hall in 1982 and 1 daughter:  Judy Helen Hall in 1952. Survivors include 8 daughters:  Nellie Estill & Ray Fanning, Burma Ruth Hall, Shirley Ann Franklin, Tammy Sue Hall all of Elora, TN, Martha Williams, Carol Jean & William Worley both of Flintville, TN, Linda Sue & Glenn Dell of Kelso, TN, Teresa Lynn Bean of Fayetteville, TN; 3 sons:  Leon Richard Hall, Lonnie & Kimberly Hall all of Elora, TN, Roy Joseph Hall of Flintville, TN; 1 sister:  Dorothy Jean Jacks of Fayetteville, TN; 2 brothers:  Wendell Davis of Tullahoma, TN, Horace G. Davis of Pulaski, TN; 14 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family was held Tuesday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

 

Mrs. Laura Bell Harmening

               Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Bell Harmening, age 82, of Myrick Rd., Flintville, TN, who passed away Saturday, February 14, 2004 in Donalson Care Center, were held Tuesday, February 17, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Richard Rogers officiating. Burial followed in Morgan Cemetery. Mrs. Harmening was a native of Lincoln County, TN, daughter of the late Hanley Dodson and the late Bonnie Counts Dodson, a homemaker and a member of the Flintville 1st Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband:  Wilsie Harmening of Flintville, TN; 2 sons:  Jerry Harmening of Hazel Green, AL, Ronald Harmening of Flintville, TN; 1 daughter:  Phyllis Pickett of Fayetteville, TN; 1 brother:  Robert Dodson of Huntland, TN; 2 sisters:  Annie Howard of Elora, TN, Joyce Dodson of Valamosa Springs; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Visitation was held Monday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.

 

Mrs. Willie Faye Wilson

                Funeral services for Mrs. Willie Faye Wilson, age 68, of Johnson Rd., Huntsville, AL, who passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2004 in Lincoln Medical Center, were held Friday, February 20, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Benny Berry officiating. Burial followed in Bevills Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. Wilson was a native of Marshall County, AL, daughter of the late Cliff Green Denney & the late Lilla York Denney, an employee of GTE and a member of the Bevills Chapel Baptist Church. Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband:  Edward Wilson; 1 daughter:  Linda Haynes; 1 grandson:  Jimmy Watwood; 1 brother:  Cecil Denney. Survivors include 1 daughter:  Sharon & Nelson Taylor of Fayetteville, TN; 3 grandchildren:  Jennifer Taylor, Jeremy Taylor, Rodney Watwood; 3 sisters:  Melba Bartlett, Wanda Morris, Joann Smith all of Cullman, AL; 1 brother:  Basil Denney of Arab, AL and several great grandchildren. Visitation was held Thursday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Gallant Funeral Home.
